Radiotherapy Localization
Precision:In the production process, we place great emphasis on the molding and fixation effects of radiotherapy thermoplastic masks. This ensures uniform stretching of the mesh pores during molding, maintains the required fixation performance, and provides more stable and precise patient immobilization.
Softening Temperature:When placed in hot water at 65 °C–70 °C, the thermoplastic mask softens completely within 3–4 minutes, indicated by a transparent appearance. Complete softening facilitates molding, improves fixation, and enhances patient comfort during the shaping process.
Safety:During thermoforming, the material does not adhere to the patient's hair, skin, or to itself. The radiotherapy fixation film series is made of environmentally friendly materials and is biodegradable after disposal.
Comfort:The thermoplastic mask exhibits minimal shrinkage during stretching, ensuring patient comfort. The mesh holes are precision-punched (with CNC accuracy up to 0.02 mm), leaving the nasal area unobstructed after molding for easy breathing.
Thickness:We offer thermoplastic masks in various thicknesses, such as 2.4 mm, 2.8 mm, and 3.2 mm, to meet specific customer requirements.
Memory Performance:The radiotherapy thermoplastic mask is a shape-memory material that can be remolded and reused. If shaping or fixation is unsatisfactory, the stretched material can be re-softened in 65 °C–70 °C water for re-molding.
Important Note:Re-molding is intended only for repeated fixation of the same patient. Reusing a previously applied fixation mask for a different patient may lead to legal and regulatory disputes.
